Running Processes -- Analysis Request

Gib

Hello....,

From the below data, could an MVP/expert, tell me why in
hell is it taking so long for my system to restart/boot.
I'm running an AMD Athlon 1.40GHz / 256 RAM. I thought I
had turned off everything I could in MSCONFIG?? Any
suggestions are appreciated!!! Happy Holidays!

Gib

Hi Gib,

If you disable the startuptracker and realscheduler, do things improve?

Hey Rick,

Only ran startup tracker once to analyze. Disabled
realsked. and still approx. 3 minute restart time.

It's like this...Windows opens and displays my desktop
screen in like 5-10 seconds. It's then that NOTHING
happens, until my virus prgm. (Grisoft) loads and it's
icon pops up bottom right on the toolbar. No HD activity
for maybe 2 whole minutes??? Rick, I have v1.0.0.1
Bootvis but have not yet installed/ran it. Your thoughts
on that as well, if I may ask, Sir...

Thanks man! Ya'll MVP's are the SH*T! Why anyone would
EVER call and blow money on a helpdesk issue, is beyond
belief!

Thanks again!!

Hi Gib,

The problems are related to a program or service loading at boot. Try the
steps here:
