Running old software!

Hi,

When I try to load an old Trigonometry cd-rom, the main window for the
program comes up. But when I click on the chapter and section for the
lesson, a message appears "Invalid Property Value." What is this and how do
I fix it so it is compatable with my computer? I know the program works
because I've tried it on several friends computers with Windows XP Home
Edition and it worked. Thanks for the help!

Matt;
What is the difference between your and the other computers?
Do you have all updates for Windows XP installed?
Have you tried Compatibility Mode?
What does the program manufacturer have to say about Windows XP
compatibility?

I checked for updates and had none. Also, I have tried to run compatability mode but it does not affect the program. Anyway, I can get INTO the program, but when I try to select a chapter to study it reads "Invalid Property Value" and then closes once I x out of the error message. When trying it on my friends computer, all I had to do for it to work was install it and go. Any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Matt
