Running Access on a Wireless Network

I have an Access DB running on a small wireless network with 3 laptops. I
have split the database and have the back end and front end in a shared file
on one computer and seperate copies of the front end on the other 2
computers. 2 computers are able to work on the database at the same time
with no problem, but when the other user opens the database and works on it
for a few minutes she gets and error, something about no network disk and the
other users front end freezes. The computer that the back end is on is not
effected. What can I do to fix this?

You shouldn't open/share an Access file over a wireless network...you
probably corrupted the database. You need to try opening the database, and
if you get a prompt say that it is corrupt, you need to make a copy of
it...then repair. Then you need to change to using a wired network, if
you're going to share Access databases.

Hi Megan,
...... What can I do to fix this?

Wire your network!

When it comes to Wireless and desktop database systems (i.e. not just
Access), it is not *showtime* yet!
If you're just so bent on wireless, you can go other routes such as terminal
service, but that's a different story and you can look up this newsgroup on
how to setup Access with TS.
