Your network access was interrupted

This is an Access 2007 database split into front end and back end,
back end on the server and front end on a PC. I get regular network
access messages (since upgrading to Access 2007, although it has to be
said we upgraded a lot of other stuff at the same time). CTRL + SHIFT
+ I yields the number 503043 in the information dialog box. I'm as
sure as I can be that this is not actually a network problem. Can
anyone shed any light on matters? Is this a problem made better by
Access 2010?

By any chance are you trying to connect wirelessly? Access really doesn't
work well wirelessly.

No, wired. Do you happen to know what the significance of the error
number 503043 is?

No, but to be honest, I have no idea what you mean by "CTRL + SHIFT + I
yields the number 503043 in the information dialog box." To the best of my
knowledge, Ctrl-Shift-I isn't a shortcut key combination built into Access,
so it must be something you've built into the application.

Also, error number 503043 is unquestionably not an Access error at
all, the numbers of which do not fall in that range.

When I receive that error message, pressing that key combination adds
a number to the bottom right hand side of the dialog box (presumably
to help with identifying the problem). I got this info from a computer
mag so not home grown at all. It may be confined to Windows 7, I'm not
sure

Doug;

that is why anyone with a clue moved to ADP a long time ago!
