I want to run a media player bite as background to the text on my slide.

I've heard that...but there must be a way to get around that. Without buying
Crystal software.

I dont think so Powerpoint uses a windows media player and it is always in
front!

If you find a way tell me I've been trying for ages! My answer was to learn
Flash and put the text in the vdeo!

I just downloaded MS Producer and am playing with it. Maybe that will work.

Let me save you some time. It won't work. Video is always done as on
"overlay" via DirectX APIs to the PPT slide and nothing can be placed in
front of it. As others have pointed out it can be done programically but
that to has many limitations. (Even Crystal Graphics)
