Every time I shut down I get a window saying RUNDLL32.EXE
not responding then it goes thru the shut down process.
What's the problem and why is it happening?

Some program or process that is running when you go to shut down Windows
isn't exiting gracefully. Just before you want to shut down, start Task
Manager and make a note of the programs and processes that are running
so you can do some Sherlocking. Also, do the normal troubleshooting;
i.e., scan with a current antivirus using updated definitions. Remove
any accumulated spyware that may not want to shut down. Make sure
you've applied critical security patches and are running a firewall.
