rundll32.exe

R

Rickey

I am trying to uninstall CNET Download Manager. Each time I attempt it, my
cpu usage jumps to 100% and nothing happens. The only way to stop it is to
Ctrl-alt-del and end process rundll32.exe -- which hovers around 98% cpu
usage during this time.
How do i fix this?
How do I get CNET DM uninstalled, period?

Use System Restore to revert to a point in time before you installed CNET
DM. Reboot. But, before you do realize that you will lose any program
settings or program changes made during the same time.

rundll32.exe takes a lot of hits and changes from worm-ware and spy-ware
programs such as this.

Good luck.
