I am running Windows XP Pro with all the latest service
packs. When I try to print a .tif image (using the
standard Microsoft Image and Fax printing wizard), I get
a runaway rundll32.exe process and the application
hangs. The process will continue to take memory from the
system until it reaches about 25 MB. It will then stop
and the entire process will hang. This does not occur
with all .tif images, and there does not appear to be any
patterns on the .tif images it does or does not print. I
have tried unpacking a fresh rundll32.exe file, however,
this has not worked.
I appreciate anyone's suggestions.
Thank you,
Scott
