runDLL32.exe missing... No way to reinstall?

My runDLL32.exe file is missing and now I have no way to
edit things in the Control Panel. The recommendation from
Microsoft is to reinstall it from the CD, but My XP
Professional came pre-installed on my computer and there
was no disc. Is there any other way to get this file?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me. This is very
frustrating!

If you have a C:\i386 folder, then open a command prompt window and use
expand.exe to replace your missing rundll32.exe.

expand C:\i386\rundll32.ex_ C:\Windows\system32\rundll32.exe
