rundll32.exe error

Hello,

Everytime I shutdown or restart my computer I have and
End Task screen with the rundll32.exe wanting to end. I
have no idea why this would come up and it just happend
last week. I looked on the microsoft website and found
nothing like this and just happened to click to this part
of the site. I have tryed everything I could posibly
think of. I was woundering if there is somebody out
there that knows anything aobut this error and how to fix

Having same error problem found out I had a virus,I am
trying to find out a way to replace system 32 rundll32.exe
file now I just found out rundll bridge file has been
deleted due to same virus by my virus program cannot be
cleaned.let me know if someone responds my replying to
message.

Hi, Just been thru the same problem, it was due to Bridge.dll being an
adware, virus scanner got rid of it, but left the rundll32.exe still looking
for it at shutdown or start up.
Went into msconfig looked in the Startup section found Bridge in the Starup
list clicked the box OFF and rebooted.
It did come up with a warning that the config was not the normal generic,
clicked the "Don't show again" box and all is good. Hope this helps, but be
carefull what you do in the Msconfig program.

Had same problem tried various spyware progs to no avail, then tried CWShredder worked a treat, go to Google and type CWShedder to find free download sites, goodluck keg6
