rundll32.exe error

the rundll.exe file es consuming 100% of the CPU twice a
day - or more. This may be a damage in the file. How can
i replace it? I have Windows XP Home Edition on a IBM T41
Laptop.

Wrong! rundll32.exe is a process which executes DLL's an places their
libraries into the memory, so they can be used more efficiently by
applications; it's authored by Microsoft and is a system process.

You're probably thinking of rundll.exe, which IS a virus.
