when i start my computer, i recieve an error message:

Title: "RUNDLL"
Message: "Error loading C:\WINDOWS\system32\stlbdist.dll
The Specified module could not be found"

This started about three days ago (12/2). I have tried
system resotre and it is not working. What do i have to
do to get this file back?

Check your system for "hijackware":

You *must* seek updates for Ad-Aware, Spybot, etc., before each and every
use, even "right out of the box". But even then, they can't catch
everything. HijackThis
(http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred
tool to use these days. It will help to both identify and remove any
hijackware/spyware. **Post your files to http://forums.spywareinfo.com/,
not here.**

Also update your virus definitions and then run a full system scan. From
now on, do both daily.

A quick search in using google, seems to indicate you have
pick up some spyware. Below is a link to pest patrol
about it.

i searched my entire system and there is
no "hijackware". the computer has not been any different
but this message has never appeared before. also, the
file was located under a system folder which must mean it
is needed somehow. what should i do?

possibility. Download and run HijackThis, then post your files to the
