Delete the RUN key for it as it sounds like malware

START | RUN | Type regedit & press ENTER

Navigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

and

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

In the right pane, delete the corresponding entry

Close the Registry Editor,

Scan your machine for malware using the software available at the following
link:

Kelly,

What if the user doesn't know what HijackThis or Malwarebytes is?

Fab advice from you in regards to using them. No download links either

Remember that HiJackThis misses some of the areas used & it doesn't find
rootkits. Besides that, some BHO's ofranything plugged into Winlogon it
doesn't remove either as the files... are in use (locked read or write
only).

Did you open the link that Kelly supplied ? And you did not see the download links
that open in there ? Next time try to check before sending signal to finger
What if the user doesn't know what HijackThis or Malwarebytes is?

Reading (inside Kelly's link) certainly explains it

At start up I get Rundll c:\WINDOWS\system32\vgcapgvg.dll not found?

That's good news. It means your antivirus program is working. It
detected and deleted malware, but not the launcher. Find that via MSCONFIG
and delete it manually.

It also means that you should re-scan your system, clear the temp and
Temporary Internet Files folders, and examine how you use your system.

No links Peter from Kelly's post. Just a useless line of text with no help
whatsoever to the OP

I do not know about you but I can bring up the links and the download files from
that what you call useless line of text.

Everything is there if you open the signal transmitter to the fingers
