rundll problem

everytime my computer boots I get this error: An exception
occured while trying to run "fldrclnr.dll, Wizard_RunDll"
it is in a box labled RUNDLL with a red cirlce and white X
in the circle. I am pretty sure that this is to run the
disk cleanup wizard. However I don't understand why I am
getting the error or what to do to fix it. Thanks for any
help/suggestions

Thanks,

Look in Startup by going to Start>Run and typing "msconfig" without the
quotes. Look on the Startup tab and if Disk Cleanup is there, uncheck
the box next to its name, Apply and OK out. The next time you reboot
you'll get a dialog box about using the System Configuration Utility -
just check the little box for "don't show me this again" and OK out.
Also check in Scheduled Tasks and see if you've got Disk Cleanup
scheduled to run every day. If you do, delete that task.

Thanks so much Malke for the information however I want
the disk cleanup to run when I shutdown the computer or
start it. I want to know why it happens and how I can fix
it but still let the program to run. I know how to disable
it like you said but I dont want to disable it, I want it
to run.

Perhaps the error is because Disk Cleanup is hanging on Compress Old
Files, which is a known issue. You can see if this is the case by
running regedit and deleting this key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explore
\VolumeCaches\CompressOldFiles

Of course, all the usual cautions about messing about in the registry
apply.
