Hi Stavros,

How to Clear the Windows Explorer MRU Lists
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=142298

Handy utility to do this. Use MRUClean (~40k) and clear the entries.

Open Window Registry Editor and Press F3
type in the words you've type in "Run Space".

or explore through HKey........

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\
Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\RunMRU

Everything you typed in the Run Space is there!

Good Luck!

Krappo.

Hi,

Delete the value corresponding to the command you want to remove, or remove
all the entries to clear the list completely.

Start/Run/Regedit

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
Explorer\RunMRU

A small utility I created that clears certain History Lists

Clear Recent File Lists - Includes Search and Run Menu (Line 41)

Ramesh,

Your Help/About splash screen needs to be shut down with the Task Manager.

You can click anywhere on the dialog. Bad, bad, UI.

In my case, it doesnt even clear the "Run" dialog 'history'. It fails to
serve its purpose.

I haven't tried anything on it. But I do like to keep my Run commands. <s>

Anando,

It does clear the run history. You need to restart the shell, or log back
in.
