Run Time Errors

I recently tried to download and install a Gadget called "Piano" which would
put a piano keyboard on the screen. It downloaded and installed When I
dragged the keyboard from the sidebar onto the screen it enlarged as expectid
but when I tried to play the keyboard I began getting Run Time Errors and it
didn't work at all. In frustration I simply deleted the Gadget.

Since then, I have been getting Run Time Errors at random times, usually
when closing a program or when hitting a link within a program, sometimes
when opening a program. This doesn't happen all the time, or with every
program or with the same program every time.

The error notification asks if I want to Debug. If I hit Yes, nothing
(apparent) Happens, the error box just pops up again. If I hit No, or hit
Yes three or four times, the box disappears and everything seems to work as
expected.

The errors I have been getting are:

Line:398
Error:'feedArticleContent[...].descroption is null or not an object

Line:175
Error:Object required

Line:91
Error:'this.data.request.readyState' is null or not an object

I'm running Vista Home Premium, factory loaded on a Dell Inspiron 1505
laptop. Before the failed Gadget I had no problems at all. What's going on
here? What should I do to correct these "errors" or how can I prevent them.

It sounds like simply deleting the gadget from the Side Bar didn't get rid
of all of its scripts or hooks. Call the developer and ask how to get rid
of all of it. Alternatively (and probably more easily), you can use System
Restore to go back to a machine state before you installed the gadget.

Do you have a system restore point to which you can revert?
