Sidebar - Slideshow Script Error

Hi all,
Using Vista Ultimate. Having problems with the default slideshow gadget.

The gadget actually works fine with the settings I placed a few months back,
but each time I try to change the settings one of two things happens:

1) a script error complaining about an invalid path

or

2) no script error but a settings box with everything blank inside. If I add
settings they don't stick.

It's been a few months since I've tried to change settings for this gadget so
not sure what I've installed/unistalled in regard to problem history. (I
have the gadget set to pick up pictures from a folder where I store my photos
and it's been set this way for a long time). It's just that I now cannot
change any settings.

- All other gadgets work fine (including settings).
- I've unistalled and reinstalled the gadget.
- Tried system restore.

Any ideas what is going on here? Is there a way to unistall the sidebar and
then reinstall it?

Thanks

Mick

Hi,
Registering the dll's didn't work, but I've since fixed it. For some
reason Vista lost track of where the 'my pictures' folder was which was
causing the script error - the script was referring to a folder that
didn't exist according to the os. Fixed the link and all is now fine.

Thanks
Mick
