Run Time Error

Whenever I visit some websites that I go to, I get a dialog box that pops up with "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library"
Then inside the box it reads "Program:c:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE"
under that it reads "abnormal program termination"

I have to click OK and when I do, it kicks me out of explorer.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?
