Run-time error

I get a runtime error while typing a document in Word. The error goes
something like this. Runtime error Runtime library C:\program
files\Microsoft office\office10\winword.exe Abnormal program termination.
Then the program shuts down or locks up. any help would be appreciated
 
Have you applied the latest Service Pack and Patches for your version of
Word? Also, have you tried doing a Detect & Repair from the Help menu?
