Run consol question

Quick question. What is the run command that I can use in order to have the
dialog box appeear so I can turn off programs that are runing in the
background...or at least see what is running

I'd guess it's either taskmgr or msconfig

Thanks guys....my box is tired...laugh... so I was trying to find out what is
running in the start up process and take some stuff off line that I
recognized without getting in over my head and messing things up to the point
that I have to re-build. I used msconfig to see what I could recognize and I
put my box in selective start up mode which enbaled me to stut off some items
that I recognized under the start up tab!
