Run CD in D: drive

Please help me!!!

Computer can not run CD software which is in D:drive. Pop up windo
says D:xxxxxx is not accessible. The request could not be performe
because of an I/O device error
 
Hi If You get someone to help you. I'd like then to help me also. I have
the samething. Can't use my Cd Drive. I have tryed alot of things but no luck
yet. I'm (e-mail address removed) if you get help please let me know. Thank You
 
Something to try,

Right click My Computer,
Select Manage,
Select Disk Management,
Open to full screen,
If your CD drive is recognized,
Click to highlight it,
Select Action,
All tasks,
Change drive letter and paths,
Change to another letter higher in the alphabet.
Example: H

This will also keep the CD drive from interfering with the hard drive
letters if you decide to create other partitions.
