Rules with "OR"

Guest

I am using Outlook 2003.

I can add several criteria to a rule but it seems that all of them are
linked with a logical "AND" like: if the message is from Peter AND it has
attachments.

Is it possible to link rules with "OR"? like: if the message if from Peter
OR if the message if from Paul.

Thanks,

Well, that's sort of two different questions.

I mean, your examples sort of contradict each other.

If you set up a condition on the from field and give it two different
options (or any condition, really), it is an OR.

If you set up two different conditions, it will be an AND.

If you want to filter a message on two conditions (such as a message that
has either Peter as a sender OR has an attachment), use two rules, one for
the sender and for the attachment. Your second example (two tests of the
same condition) will automatically be OR and can be done in one rule.
