Hi all, I am in need of some Outlook 2007 help. I am tired of the little new mail envelope notifier not showing up because all my mail is sent to different folders and not the inbox. I was hoping to set up a rule that would allow all my mail to go to the inbox, then after it has been read, then move it to a specified folder. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh - If there is another way of showing the envelope keeping the folders the same, that would be ok too

Sorry, but rules run automatically only at message reception. Rules that
move messages can always employ a rule-specific notification action.

You can set up a rule to move a copy of the message to the specified folder.
That will leave the original message in the inbox, and you can delete it
after reading, since you'll already have a copy.
