rules getting disabled

Sometimes one or more rules are being disabled without warning. The rules
work fine, then the checkbox in the Rules list gets unchecked. The rules run
on an IMAP inbox and move or copy items to Personal Folders. Does anyone know
why rules turn themselves off?
