Hello.

I have created some rules in Outlook 2000 that work very well excpet in
deleting items. When a mail comes in, the rules move/copy some items to
another folder and then delete from the inbox. The problem is, it doesn't
purge from the inbox after deleting - even when I choose 'permanently
delete'. Any ideas ?

This happens when more than one (move) rule applies to a single message.
Make sure you've sorted your rules correctly and use the "stop processing
more rules" action accordingly.

The rules only apply to the one type - they don't interfere with each other.
I've also added the 'Stop processing more rules' to all but it makes no
difference.

For what account type is this?
