Rules and Alert Question

Terri

I receive many emails from addresses similar to:
(e-mail address removed) . There is nothing in the subject line nor in
the body and no name in the TO field. How do I make a rule to allow these
messages to go into my delete box?
Thanks!

Create a rule that deletes all messages, and add the exception "except if
the subject or body contains specific words" and make the specific words
"a", "e", "i", "o", "u", or "y". This will delete all messages unless they
contain at least one English word. Messages with nothing in the subject or
body or with only punctuation or digits will be deleted.

I follow what you say, but I do not see where it says delete all messages -
can you clear this up for me?

Do not choose any condition on the first list of choices. Simply click
Next. Outlook will tell you that the rule will be applied to all messages
and ask you if that will be OK. You'll see the action list next and there
you specify the "delete it" action and, if you wish, the "mark it as read"
condition.

for...

After choosing the action and clicking Next, you'll be presented a list of
exceptions. That is where you find the "except if" conditions.
