rule wizard, on server side?

I need to move emails with the word "finished" on the subejct line to a
"FinishedFolder". These emails come to a shared inbox used by four users.
I've been able to create the rule, but it's "client-only". So only the
emails that are addressed to each user get moved. But the emails come to a
group address. How do I apply the rule to the group inbox?

Are you using Exchange server? Where is the finished folder, in the group
mailbox?

If you are not using Exchange as your mail server, all you can define are
client-side rules so you will need to use the rules defined in your client
to perform the action that you want. If you are using Exchange and are
moving the mails to your own mailbox's "Finished" folder then the other
users won't be able to see those mails.

You could check if your SMTP provider has server-side rules to move messages
into a different folder upon receiving the e-mails. Use the webmail
interface to your SMTP provider to see if they let you define server-side
rules. However, that means you will be stuck using the webmail interface to
get at that other folder since POP3 clients only know how to send commands
to get pending mails from the mailbox (which is just the Inbox folder).

If you are using IMAP as your mail server, you can use your rule to move it
to the other folder and the other shared users of that "group" account can
see it (once they add that folder to their IMAP folders to query).
