Rule Issues (copying incoming messages)

B

I am using two gmail IMAP accounts through outlook. Because I wanted to have
both inboxes easily accessible and because I want to be able to easily
archive all of my old messages using gmail's large storage space rather than
my hard drive, I set a rule to copy all messages that come through my gmail
accounts to my outlook inbox (in my personal folders). This worked well for
a week or so until today. Now, every time I receive an e-mail, a window pops
up saying, "Cannot copy to the 'Inbox' folder." I have deleted the rules and
redid them several times and searched these forums to no avail. I would
appreciate any help!

Thank you!

Outlook 2007. There are only four messages in the inbox. How would I find
the size of the PST file? The Inbox folder is only 87KB and the "Personal
Folders" is about 38.5 MB (38,483 KB)

That's small enough that its unlikely to be caused by a size problem.

Are you copying to gmail or from gmail to your local inbox?

I just reset the rule for literally about the 10th time and it now works.
The only thing I did was close outlook for the night and reopen it this
morning. Maybe that did it.

Thank you for your help Diane!
