Hi all,
I have on a computer for embedded use an empty miniPCI slot and an empty
PCMCIA slot. Now I need one more serial (RS232) port. What would you
recommend? Serial on miniPCI or on PCMCIA? OS is Linux (Debian). If drivers
are needed, it is no problem to compile them into the kernel, if they are
available in the kernel sources.

Hi Richard,

I've always had good luck with Quatech PCMCIA serial ports:

You'll have to poke around to see how they compare with miniPCI serial
ports? Good luck.
