RRAS Routes but can not ping ISA interface

J

Jerry

Greetings!

I have a Win2k box setup as a router.

192.168.11.x/24 for my internal network.

10.49.0.x/16 for the external network that is actually the
schools private network.

The school has an ISA server for access to the internet.
I can ping just about any client on the 10.49.x.x network
accept the 10.49.0.3, the ISA server and the 10.49.0.1
box, the DNS server.

From my RRAS box however, I can ping successfully the
10.49.0.3 machine and set it as the proxy server in IE and
get out on the internet after authenticating in to the
school domain.

What am I missing?

Thanks

Jerry

The ISA server needs a route back to the 192.168.11.x network added to its
route table.
