When attempting to use IE, I get the message "remote
procedure call (RPC) terminated unexpectedly. IE then
shuts down. No problem with Outlook Express.

well do you have an anti virus? free antivirus at
grisoft.com do you have a firewall? turn on the xp
firewall in connection settings or free firewall at
grisoft.com.and have you downloaded all the critical updates?
