RPC service default settings ??

I noticed that my printer failed to print ( a boot would solve
the problem ) - after USB cables and USB port changes it still did
not solve the problem ( I tried with another printer ) ( It would
print to network printers ONLY )
I Quite convinced I followed the right steps in installing HP
software for both , and after browsing some HP pages , I stopped
and restarded the Print Spooler in Services MSC .
It did the trick , but I noticed that the Print spooler , has
a dependency on RPC - And , that RPC LOCATOR , is not on auto
matic mode - What's the default mode for RPC locator ?

If it's was needed, the manual setting of the Locator would have made things
not work for your application, as it's not active. The RPC Service is what's
needed by a COM program or a program needing RPC, and they won't properly
without the RPC service active, which is the entry above the RPC Locator.
