RPC problems

I made a serious mistake and disabled "RPC", "Routing and
Remote Access", and "Remote Registry" services found in
the "Services" of Administrative Tools. I contacted Dell
support and they said I must reload Windows. Apparently,
one cannot enable or start these services up once they
have been disabled. It would be nice if Microsoft at
least gave you a warning of the consequences before you
click! Can anything be done to restore these services or
must I bite the bitter pill and reload Windows? Thanks.
