hi

I have a document that spans a number of pages - how do I make excel put the
first row from the first page at the top of every page ?

Hi Alan,
Likewise to keep the top row in view at the top of the display
you would select row 2 (one row past row 1) and use Window, Freeze Panes.

To also keep column A in view, first select cell B2, then do
your Window (menu), Freeze Panes.
