Routing in windos XP

I have a windows XP professional pc with two network cards. One network
cards points to a set of workgroup (Network X) PCs with IP range
192.168.1.xxx (with subnet mask 255.255.255.0). The other network card
points to a set of workgroup (Network Y) PCs with IP range
192.168.2.xxx (with subnet mask 255.255.255.0).

My XP machine is capable of PINGing PCs in both Networks (that is in
Network X and Y). But a PC on network X cannot PING a PC on Network Y
and vice versa. Is there a way to enable routing between these two
network segments via Windows XP professional without a usage of a
external router or any such device?
