Hi,
I have been trying to get a Netgear SC101 hard disk device to run off my
router. I have a two PC's on my home network both running WinXP sp2.
One PC will talk to the device and the other will not.
I've reviewed all the network settings (TCPIP) etc etc and the only
difference between the two PC''s is that one has "IP Routing Enabled" and
"WINS Proxy Enabled" both set to "Yes" while the other has them both set to
"No". The PC that has them set to "Yes" will talk to the new device while
the other PC will not.
Therefore I'm trying work out how these flags are set!!!. Any advice would
help, the "Ipconfig /all" details are at the end of this message.
