When ever I log onto Windows 2000 I get an error stating my roaming profile
can't be saved what does that mean?
How do I fix this?

What is inputed under Profile tab on the user properties box?

Regards,
Jordan

local path\profile\name
I noticed the problem started when we installed an external hardrive and
moved over folders. Everyone is set up the same way, but not every computer
gets the warning.

Try setting it as \\SERVER\directory\%username%

I'm not sure by what you mean local path/profile/name

It means you have lost a connection to the network location your
profile is saved to.

Fix the network connection. :)

Possibly a permissions issue as well.

Sorry I should have explained that better it says server\profile\username
So I'm assuming it's a permission problem?
