RIS not displaying all images

I think I know what the problem is but I am wanting to get some confirmation.
I have a Windows Server 2003 RIS server running that currently hold like 10
images. We have a Customer Service Image that I built last year when we
purchased the entire department new computers. We bought 40 Optiplex 170L's
from Dell. I have never had a problem and all 40 arrived on the same truck.

We recently bought 5 more Optiplex 170L's and now the image does not appear
when I try to install it. I have checked all the drivers and Dell's website
lists the same nic drivers I already have. The HAL does not appear to have
changed. They still have IDE drivers. The computer appear to be identical.
The processor is different but it is still a P4, just faster.

Could the Proc and BIOS make a difference on the image? Dell does not
support RIS so they told me to contact Microsoft. I have been down this road
before when I was setting up the RIS server. Microsoft tells me its a Dell
problem.

I have a shipper image that I can place on Dell 330, 340, 350, 360, and
370's. Those computer are drastically different built over a 4 year period. I
just cant figure out why these Optiplex's are not working.

OK, After typing my question it dawned on me. Since the processor changed,
maybe RIS thinks the HAL changed. Sure enough, these new Optiplex's have
Hyper-Threading enabled where the old one did not have HT ability. I disabled
HT in the BIOS and I can now see all the images.

Hope this helps someone in the future.
