Ripping mp3's to hard drive

Every mp3 that i rip, or get via msn is just ripping dat files, tryed a few
programmes and still no joy.

I have a xp and I have put the music on sd stick and can't get the mp3 player
to reconize it.

Use Windows Explorer and the copy&paste feature to transfer the files
from one unit to the other.
