Hi everyone, can you help?

when i play back most of the cd's i copy to my computer, there is a slight skip 20 seconds from the end of each track. Is this a fault in my computer or an anti recording device built in to the cd's. I am running Windows Vista:bow:

What software are you using to create audioCD's?

Within Nero, for instance, there's the option to record without having a pause between tracks. You can also have some tracks with a pause and others without.

To do that though you'd first have to copy the CD tracks to hard disk then burn them to CD.

They key here is the software you're using.

Here are two things to try.

1.
1)Click or Hit windows Button. 2)click "control panel" 3)click "hardware and
sound" 4)click the "Sound" Icon 5) right click the "speakers/headphones"
button, and Hit "Properties" 6) click the "enhancements" tab 7) check the box
"disable all enhancements". 8) click "apply" and then click "OK" Then you're
done.

2.
"Why do I always get poor quality sound at the ends of songs I ripped off
music cds on Windows Media Player 11? The same music on Winamp does not have these problems."

So, try Winamp, which is a free download, instead of Windows Media Player.

No idea if either of these will do the trick but no harm in trying. :)
