right clicking any file locks up system?

Upon right clicking on any file my system locks up. I
have tried creating a new profile and run into the same
issue. I am trying to avoid a full re-install. Any
suggestions? Thanks...
 
If you have SP2 installed check for DivX software in my case Dr.DivX was
conflicting with SP2 uninstall all DivX products.
