Right click pop up menu in IE

Scott

When I right click in an IE window, I get an advertising
message in the pop up menu list right amongst "copy"
and "paste" and "properties" etc. I would like to remove
it, but don't know how. This only happens in IE. If
someone knows how I can remove that, I would appreciate
some advice.

Hi Scott,

In microsoft.public.windowsxp.general you remarked...

Try searching for "MenuExt" (without the quotes) in the Registry, there may
be more than one 'key' so do a 'Find next' also; you may find reference to
the advert in there.

You may benefit from downloading and running Lavasoft's 'Ad-aware', look
here...

Click Start, Run and enter REGEDIT Go to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MenuExt

Each subkey under this key represents an added Context Menu item. Locate
the relevant subkey, right click it and select Delete.
