Right click menu pops up automatically with no input from the mous

It seems that the right menu is always displaying itself without the mouse
being handled. This means that even when i am not handling the mouse the
right menu displays within a minute.
It seems a ghost is doing it. Why? And how can I stop it?

Hi Curtis,

I'm new around here, but I've chosen to reply to you because I just went
through the same problem with the LEFT mouse button. In my case I had pulled
the computer from storage, hooked everything up, and blammo... it was like my
mouse was possesed!

Might the death throes of your mouse:

The solution: Get another mouse that is very similar to the one that you
have now (I borrowed one from a friend). Try it out, if everything works
normally it's just a bum mouse.

You are absolutely correct! <bg> Now I feel dumb for not thinking of it! It
is a Logitech Track Man Wheel. I swapped it out and voila!
