Rewinding a slide with animation

Hi, wondered if anyone can help me. I'm writing a P/point game that requires
revisiting slides several times. These slides have animation on that starts
at the right and crosses the screen and an action button can be pressed
before it has completed the full animation cycle taking the viewer to another
page. Whenever the slide gets revisited the animation resumes where it left
off not back at the beginning.
