Anyone tell me if I can go back to NT4 server from Win2k
server? Do I have to wipe the drive and start from scratch?

Jackie,

Downgrading is not possible, so you should start a clean installation.

That's correct. The normal way to "uninstall" any operating
system is to format the hard drive and install a new OS of your
choice.

Why would you want to?

For one thing, it is impossible to get rid of IE and OE
in any version of Windows later than NT4. Hence NT4 is
the last version of Windows that can be made reasonably
secure.

However, all non-security support for NT4 has already
terminated and it appears that at the end of 2004
MicroSoft will stop developing even security hotfixes
for NT4.
