Revert to origional XP Profile so OL03 sees correct .pst

M

Hi:
A well intending co-worker created a "Temp" profile on my Boss's laptop.
Now OL 2003 created an outlook.pst file in the "Temp" profile, and the
"Temp" profile is the default profile when Win XP Pro launched.
Originally, there was only one profile, "Administrator"; and that profile
contained the only .pst file.
It looked like this:

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\outlook.pst

And the original (desired) outlook.pst file is there.

How do I get Win XP to use the Administrator as the default profile? So
that when he starts his laptop, the correct outlook.pst comes up, and also
the correct "My Documents" folder is available.
Laptop running: Win XP Pro, Outlook 2003
Thanks, Mark Flynn

If the PST was located in C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator, then your
boss was logging into Windows using the account named Administrator. Is he
still? If not, he should do so again. Then, in Control Panel's Mail
applet, click Show Profiles, locate the Temp profile, select it, and remove
it.
