Reverse publishing (downloading) sub web from server to own hard drive.

Tom

While reverse publishing a sub web via FP2000, part way
through the download receive the following:
"An error occurred accessing your FrontPage web files.
Authors-if authoring against a web server, please contact
the webmaster for this server's site. Webmasters -
please see the server's system log for more details."

Have tried several times to re-publish (with "publish
changed pages only" checked, ssl option checked, etc.)
but the download is always terminated. The directory on
the hard drive to which I'm downloading to is populated
with the sub web directories, and some of these
directories have been partially filled.

Any ideas. Could this be a conflict with the server
using different FrontPage Extension versions from what
FrontPage 2000 is using??

Thanks,

Are you publishing just one subweb, or a whole tree of
them?

How large is the subweb that's failing?

What versions are the two server extensions?

As the host to run a check and fix on the extensions.
