Reusing a hotkey

I assigned one of my hotkeys (F9) to a program that I recently uninstalled.
Now I cannot reuse the hotkey because it points to an uninstalled program.
Is there an easier way to correct this other than reinstalling the program
and removing the hotkey association? Thanks for your help.

Are you referring to Ctrl/Alt-F9, or a similar combination? If so, I
would try these:

- Restore the shortcut from the Recycle Bin, change the hotkey
combination to None.

- Create a shortcut to the non-existent program, and change the hotkey
combination to None.

- Do a Google Groups search on "change hotkey" or the like.
