I am completely stumped. Here is the story: I was having serious problems
and decided to backup my computer on a external drive and reinstall windows
fresh. I have it running nicely again and am able to access all the old
files I want to on my external with the exception of my old emails.
I found the location of my old emails but I don't know how to read them or
how to transfer them to my current outlook setup. They are located:
F:\Documents and Settings\Tattk\Local Settings\Application
Data\Identities\{8D----8B-bla bla bla 4783-A0C5-FE37E2FC8659}\Microsoft
I tried to get my currently running outlook setup to import them from here
but I can't see the "local settings" folder.
I was thinking this might have to do with my old windows setup having been
password protected. I had to logon and enter a password for my user
account. Thing is the files will still show up in a search and I could
delete them if I wanted to.
Is there a more or less easy way to retrieve my old mail?
