Retrieving Data from former boot drive

Let me start with the vitals.

Asus A7N8X deluxe
AMD XP 2400 Stock
Radeon 9700 AIW Pro
Corsair Twinx PC3200 512X2
Onboard sound
Win Xp Pro
Maxtor 30 gig x2 non-raid

I had a problem in which I could not boot period. I was getting a
blue screen "registry error" with a stop code, I believe it was Stop:
0x00000051. Could not use repair console, couldn't even reinstall. At the
time I had one 30 gig drive with boot drive C: and drive D:, the other
physical drive was drive E: I called Microsoft support and the guy from
Nepal or where ever that I could barely understand couldn't solve my
problem. What I ended up doing was swapping Master for slave and format and
fresh XP install on what was formerly Drive E: which is now bootable C:
Drive C and D are now D and E.

I've already reinstalled many of my apps, but what I want to know is,
is there any way to get some of my settings over to the new drive C: Also,
I have many many e-mails that are archived (Outlook) and was wondering if
there's a way to import them, or at least transfer them if you could tell me
where they are.

What kind of settings are you looking to transfer? If this is Outlook, check
for a .pst file (see the microsoft.public.outlook.* newsgroups).
